We deliver to 40 Target stores located on the West Coast in the Central Valley, the greater Los Angeles basin and Las Vegas Nevada. Operation runs 24/7 Monday thru Sunday. Slip seat operation. Drivers do not unload or load freight. Swap trailers at Target stores (loaded trailer must be docked in same dock as previous trailer), All Target trailers must be secured with king pin locks provided by store, Must be able to lift 15 to 20 pounds to secure trailer. All company trucks are parked at Target DC, not able to take home. Must have vehicle to drive to work and home. All drivers required to work Holidays, Nights, and Weekends. Target being retail sales are up and down thru out the year. When an increase of freight all driver required to work 6 days and 1 day off, (increase of freight during all Holiday's), when freight volume is low drivers work 5 days and 2 days off. What's good about this lane: We have a great team here that go the extra mile to take care of our customer and each other. There is never a reason to have issues because a driver can call anyone to get directions or help. Teamwork makes the Dream work! What to know: Working for retail customer Target, required to work all Holidays, Nights and Weekends. At times, drivers are required to stay out overnight. During peak season (Oct-Dec) drivers may stay out 2-3 days a week, but every attempt is made to get drivers home if possible. Operation runs 7 days a week Monday thru Sunday.
